A product of Broward County Public Schools, Mr. Bryan McCall II was a student of influential local band directors such as Melton Mustafa Jr., Eric O'Neal and Christopher Dorsey. Mr. McCall earned his Bachelor's of Music Education degree from the historic Bethune-Cookman University where he served as a section leader to the Baritone section in the Marching Wildcats Band. Mr. McCall earned his Master's of Music from VanderCook College of Music, with emphasis on Band and Choral studies.

Mr. McCall's primary instrument of study was the Euphonium, however, he has performance experience in Tuba with the Broward Symphonic Band and singing Bass with the Miamians Barbershop Choir. Mr. McCall served as the Director of Musical Studies at Apollo Middle School from 2016 - 2023, where the program grew from 110 students to over 300 students and a total of 8 performing groups. Mr. McCall also served as the Assistant Director of Bands at McArthur High School from 2018 - 2023. Mr. McCall is very excited to start a new exciting chapter here at South Plantation and is ready to lead the Band program to new heights.
